Asset Management is the systematic process of planning and control of a physical asset throughout its life. Including its operation, maintenance, warranty and disposal. Here at UConn, the Asset Manager's main focus is maintaining the Asset Data Standards and Integrity for the above mentioned Asset Types and they work closely with all shops and construction departments ensuring maintenance schedules and inspection procedures are met.
